In the evening of May 12^th 2011, personnel, family and friends started of this year’s celebration. This evening was opened by the master of ceremony, Mrs. Kathleen Singh-Djojopawiro, by welcoming everybody and presenting the first speaker, Mr. Scherwin Djojopawiro, owner and general manager of SIB Signs & Designs.

He talked about the beginning and some great milestones during the 10 years of operations such as the growth in personnel, improving the business environment and the ISO 9001:2008 certification. Furthermore he thanked each and everyone, especially his team and family for their support and input, then closed with “SIB Signs & Designs, we are the next level.”

On this blessed day, May 12th 2011, we are proud to celebrate our 10th anniversary. A decade of creating and innovating, a decade of improvements and the most important of all... a Decade of experience with YOU...

We started in 2001 and have continuously invested in our team with all the necessary tools and local and international training to provide you with products according to the latest trend and technology.

Products went from hand painted signs to automatically laser cut shapes, small stickers to enormous billboards and simple letters to flashy 3D Signs. The customer has always played an important role for us. To fulfill the needs of our customers we do our very best to take lead in manufacturing innovative and creative graphic products.

SIB Signs and Designs is ISO9001 certified since 2010, not only taking care of its team and customers, but also giving back to the community as part of its HSEC & Q Management Systems.

You see that every relationship is valuable and can be considered a part of us. The whole SIB team hereby congratulates you and most importantly thanks you for being part of it's success. Today we officially announce the start of celebrating the “2011-Thank you for being part of us".

In January 2011, SIB went through a periodic audit to maintain its ISO 9001:2008 Certificate. SIB received this certificate from SGS Nederland during a project initiated by the Government of Suriname (PLOS). SGS Nederland is one of the leading organizations in ISO 9001:2008 Quality Management Systems (QMS) Certification.

On Friday 21 January 2011 SIB went through its first periodic audit performed SGS Nederland. After going through intense preparations and a required internal audit, SIB was ready again to welcome back SGS Lead Auditor Mr. J. Pepers. Mr. Pepers was very impressed with SIB’s continues improvement and urged the SIB-bers to continue the good work.

At the end of 2010, SIB held a Customer Satisfaction Survey in order to continuously improve its QMS. The collected data was analyzed and the results were communicated to the SIB-bers. Actions related to the outcome of the survey have been set and will be implemented during the course of 2011. The planning is to do this survey again in Q4 2011.

By giving back to the community and as part of thits HSEC & Q Management Systems within the company, SIB continued its Corporate Social Responsibility also in 2010 when they donated a sum of money to Stichting Betheljada.

In December 2010 SIB once again inspired its employees to share with their fellow countrymen. Stichting Betheljada, a caring facility where children of all ages with disabilities are taken care of, was blessed once again by the SIB-bers this time with a cheque for SRD5000 during the visit on Friday 24 December 2010. Stichting Betheljada clearly showed their appreciation and gave the SIB-bers a grant tour of the facilities. The business community once again made Christmas time for Stichting Betheljada merrier.

SIB urges you to also continue to give back in this productive year of 2011.

In 2011 SIB Signs & Designs celebrates its 10^th year of establishment in Suriname. I would like to take this opportunity to thank each and everyone, especially you, our clients for trusting us. During these years we have managed to become a leading company in the graphic and sign industry in Suriname that ensures our clients of quality products and services.

For example the men cook out of 2010 that gave us the opportunity to participate in order to help with social projects led by Quota Suriname. Also our Christmas visit to Betheljada for our donation in order that the children at Betheljada can also have a wonderful Christmas.

The fresh new website also emphasizes on my experience for starting up this business.
